Here is another option for those candidates ready to take the exams:

CKD/CBD Design Exam at K/BIS

The NKBA is continually striving to make learning and certification as convenient as possible. The NKBA is now offering the Design Exam at K/BIS. The deadline for applications is February 1, 2008. All applications for the academic portion are due by December 21, 2007. The design exam will be administered on Wednesday, April 9th from 12-6 pm. Once you complete the exam, enjoy the rest of the show.

Taking the exam at K/BIS has many advantages:

  • It gives you a break. Take the Academic CBT between March 15th and 29th and then take the design portion at K/BIS. This way, you don't have to spend the entire day testing.
  • More time to prepare. By taking the exam on two different dates, you can concentrate on studying for each individual portion and dedicate a little more time to the design test.
  • Take the on-site design review course prior to the exam. Give your skills a refresher by taking the one day course and then sit for the exam the next day.
  • Save money. If you are already planning on attending K/BIS, take the design exam there and save the time and money of having to fly or drive to another location.

Look for more information in upcoming mailings and on our website. For more information on the Design Exam at K/BIS or any of our certifications, please see the NKBA or K/BIS website for upcoming information or contact NKBA customer service at (800) THE–NKBA.
